In a post on the Xbox website, Creative Assembly said players can look forward to “extra surprises” to be announced for the game before launch. The biggest Total War game to date, Warhammer III promises “more factions, a larger map, more mechanics, a deeper storyline, major systems reworks, and brand-new battle types…” The game has six factions, nine “legendary lords,” and is described as being highly replayable, just like previous entries in the series. All Game Pass subscribers can pick up the game at no extra cost when it’s released on February 17, 2022, as part of an extremely busy month for new releases.
